39.2. Indian Swastika

The Indian swastika symbol represents eternal motion of consciousness through experience the spiralling nature of existence and the cyclical patterns that permeates all planes of reality.

The correct way to draw the symbol as understood by peoples from the Indian subcontinent is as follows by beginning with a central point representing the singularity of all that is from this point extend four arms outwards at right angles each arm should then bend at a 90° angle all in the same rotational direction.

The direction of the bends may be clockwise or anticlockwise each carrying its own significance the clockwise rotation is often associated with the sun’s apparent motion across our skies symbolising the positive flow of energy creation and prosperity the anticlockwise rotation is linked to various entities or the night cycle and the destructive yet purifying aspects of existence.

The spiritual significance of the symbol is multifaceted as it represents the cycle of incarnation death and reincarnation and it represents the fourth state of consciousness of Love vibration and it also represents the balance of the opposites between the masculine and the feminine, the material and the spiritual, destruction and creation. Furthermore it also relates to the movement of the energy through the chakras particularly the heart chakra.

39.3. Crux Ansata/ Ankh

The Ankh or Crux Ansata is a potent representation of cosmic principles bridging the realms of matter and spirit its true essence transcends the limited understanding often ascribed to our density.

The Ankh embodies the concept of eternal life but not merely in the sense of endless physical existence rather it symbolises the perpetual nature of consciousness the infinite cycle of energy transformation and the marriage of polarities necessary for creation and evolution.

The loop at the top represents the feminine principles the womb of potential the unmanifest. The lower vertical bar signifies the masculine principles the spark of creation the manifest the horizontal bar acts as a bridge between these forces symbolising the perfect balance and union required for existence.

The spiritual significance the Ankh is a key, a tool for unlocking higher consciousness. It serves as a focal point for meditation aligning the initiate with the rhythms of the cosmos and facilitating the flow of Life Force energy or what the peoples refer to as Prana or Chi .

The proportions of drawing the Ankh lies in the power of this symbol not in precise mathematical ratios but in the intent and understanding of the one who creates or uses it . However for those seeking guidance begin with a circle for the top Loop the vertical bar should extends approximately 2 to 2.5 time the diameter of the circle, the horizontal bar should intersect the vertical at a point just below the circle its length roughly equal to the circle’s diameters on each sides remember that these are approximations the true power of the Ankh comes from the resonance between the symbol and the consciousness of the entity using it as an entity works with this symbol allowing its intuition to guide. It will be beneficial the proportions that feel most harmonious to your beingness will be most effective for the personal spiritual work.
